I'm back.....to normal

Weeeeeee.....I'm sooo glad the Christmas break is OVER...not for me but for my daughter. Two weeks is entirely too long for a break (I'm sure I will feel different when I start teaching.) I didn't want to feel like I wasted my break I kept a list of stuff I did-
  • Read all the Chronicles of Narnia books
  • Saw the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe movie
  • Put together a new TV stand and dresser (I am now an IKEA pro)
  • Got a cute new hip haircut (I don't even want to tell you how much it cost but it looks fantastic)
  • Put up and took down Christmas decorations in a timely manner (the tree is down the house is still a bit of a mess)
  • Re-read Memoirs of a Geisha
  • Read My Sister's Keeper
  • Made dinner most nights

I worked and did junk like that but the above is stuff I did for myself.

I start school next week and I am taking my first college level math class. I was a little twitted out about it but after looking through the book, I think I'm going to be okay.

A side note: I have been married for fifteen years and I never knew my husband eats the whole orange, peel and everything, until last night. Learn something new everyday.

I will eat the lemon peel out of my wife's tea after a garlicky meal. Thanks for visiting.

H&B said "some things are better not known."
Well, some things are better not said. But I will anyway. No offense intended, but from what you said about his gloom and doom family this doesn't surprise me.
They probably just didn't teach him the right way.
Like me, my Mom never taught me to close my eys when I am trying to go to sleep. Mrs. Jim had to teach me that.

The peel is actually more nutritional and has more fiber than the rest of the orange. Most fruits are that way.
